In the design of metal structures and mechanical components in general, it is always essential to subject the designed component to a structural calculation.

A structural calculation is an analysis of the stresses and strains to which a component subjected to external forces or deformations is subjected.

The structural calculation allows, on the one hand, to obtain components with sufficient performance to work without crisis, and on the other, to avoid unnecessary and economically harmful oversizing.

CREA uses CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and FEM (Finite Element Method) tools to verify all its projects. It also verifies that the structures or mechanical components always comply with the standards in force in the customer’s country.

Furthermore, upon request, it provides technical reports stamped and signed by qualified engineers valid for the uses envisaged by law.
